Geri Goodrich KF5KRN was licensed in 2011. She became interested in amateur radio after her husband, Timothy Goodrich (aka "Skeeter Nash") N5ASH obtained his ticket in 2010. Her main focus in the hobby has been learning more about emergency communications, and she participates occasionally in nets in and around her home area of Topeka, KS. Geri has also served as Net Control, operated during Field Day, and the Johnny Cash Birthday Special Event station in February 2012. She has three grown sons, 3 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren. Her other hobbies include sewing, crafts, and decorating.
